Days Inn to Open First Hotel in Thailand

Mumbai: Wyndham Hotel Group has launched its Days Inn brand in Thailand with the signing of a managed Days Hotel in Phuket Town. The hotel is expected to open in April 2013 and is owned by Winpro The Hotel Co, Ltd. The signing will add another 120 rooms to the Days Inn portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region, where the brand currently has 44 hotels and more than 7,000 rooms. Hotel amenities will include an outdoor swimming pool, gym, spa, well-equipped meeting facilities, lobby bar, pool bar and an all-day dining restaurant. According to the company release, the hotel will also expand the larger Wyndham Hotel Group portfolio in the region, which consists of more than 385 hotels and over 58,000 rooms under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Howard Johnson, Days Inn, Super 8, Microtel Inns & Suites and Dream hotel brands.
