Tune Hotels, will mark its debut in the Indian market, with the opening of the 100-room Tune Hotel Ahmedabad in Gujarat in April 2013, said Mark Lankester, Group CEO, Tune Hotels. The upcoming property will be a part of the 4D Square Mall in Motera town of Ahmedabad, according to a report by Bernama News Agency.

Gujarat's vibrant economy is among the key factors in the budget hotel chain's decision to start its ventures in India from the state, which is located in the North West, he said.

Tune Hotels focuses on five key essentials – superior quality bed, power hot shower, convenient location, clean environment and 24-hour security. One unique feature for the Ahmedabad hotel will be a medium-sized function hall.

The report stated that this opening would be followed by a 120-room hotel in Bhiwadi, Haryana, by end-2013; and a 200-room hotel near the New Delhi Railway Station in early 2014.
